# `split()`

The split method breaks a collection into the given number of groups:
|
|
|
|

|
|
const collection = collect([1, 2, 3, 4, 5]);
|
|
|
|
const groups = collection.split(3);
|
|
|
|
// [[1, 2], [3, 4], [5]]
|
|
```
